Who controls the activities of the Foundation?

In the first place it is the Council of the Foundation who monitors the activities. Regular meetings and presentations, mainly in the Education body of FIATA - ABVT - enable the public to have a good impression on the ongoing work. The financial side is examined by professional auditors.

The Foundation has comprehensively drafted Statutes and Regulations which define clearly the rules and procedures. Furthermore, the Foundation is examined at regular intervals by the "Swiss Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations" a state owned body of the Department of Home Affairs of Switzerland. The Foundation has to submit to the authority an annual report and detailed balance sheet.
