Any company active in freight forwarding may become a member of FIATA.

 

The categories of membership are as follows:

 

• Individual membership category A
  for Freight Forwarding companies which are members of the Association Members affiliated to FIATA
  
  
• Individual membership category B
  for Freight Forwarding companies in these countries and / or regions where no Association Members is affiliated to FIATA
  
  
• Individual membership category associate
  for other bodies corporate closely related to the freight logistics industry, including lawyers and law offices, specialised in freight transport and logistics law

 

Freight forwarding companies in those countries and / or regions, where FIATA is represented through a Association Member, can only be admitted as Individual FIATA Members if the Association Member of FIATA in their country and / or region agrees with the application.

 

Individual FIATA Members are bound to contribute to the best of their ability to further the objects of FIATA and to pay the annual membership subscription within the stipulated period. The annual membership subscription is valid from 1 January until 31 December of the current year.
